These thin nylon shorts go totally transparent when wet. I love to look at myself in them, under the shower. Makes me even more excited.
One of my earliest wet memories is a TV show called 'We are the Champions' where teams from schools competed in games on the field and in the pool. I had never seen sports kit get wet before, so to my young mind this was really exciting. then of course there was It's a Knockout. When that became popular you used to get football clubs organising events with other clubs. I remember I went to one once whilst on holiday, must have been about 12, and couldn't get over the players plunging in the pool in their soccer strips. Drove my mum mad to let me wear shorts and shirt on the beach, but was never allowed. 'Wear your trunks boy' I was told. 'That's what they are for.
