Last Saturday my attempt to keep my wallet clean and dry was not successful. I dried out my banknotes, but there were some mud stains. Rather than re-launder them in cleaner water, I figured I'd see if things worked. I was pleasantly surprised. The vending machine at work accepted the dollar notes, and my mud-stained ATM card also worked just fine.
