Any socks at all! The thicker the fabric, the better. Love the feel of my soggy socks squishing in my footwear as I walk about and seeing the water spurt out of the ventilation holes in trainers as well. I have a pair of thick walking socks - navy blue - that I wear in my Wellington boots around the farm and the feel of them filled with mud or water and squishing around inside the boots is a real turn-on, both mentally and physically, which can be embarrassing sometimes. I'm getting hard just thinking about it as I write this!
