Did you ever stand on the pool's edge, with just the toes of your shoes overhanging, knowing you are about to jump/fall/get pushed? I would do that for a long time, like 10 minutes in anticipation. But once you got in the water, the instant feeling of your clothes getting soaked, the bubbles running up the back of your shirt, your jeans clinging to your legs. It just felt so good that you could hardly stand it!
