Thanks for your reply Ben. Like you I can't see any reason why they are so expensive. Also like you I could never afford that sort of money. I would be scared to wear them knowing that if the opportunity arose they could easily end up trashed. OK, I guess they are washable, but like cheaper alternatives even they couldn't survive paint or possibly cooking oil. I don't mind trashing another cheaper make, especially if I have got them for a good price in a sale though.
