Seems to me that if you consider yourself Christian, you would accept your neighbors as they are. That using a religious belief to shun/avoid/dismiss other people is exactly the opposite of what Christianity stands for, and that demonstrating that intolerant behavior to your GK would do more harm than good. Wouldn't you rather your GK be exposed to a happy household of people who love each other rather than a house where people are avoided, not because they are nasty or cruel, but because they love someone differently from you. Shelter your GK from violence, not from loving people.
