A good start, Dave but you could be enjoying this so much more. The best way to get over shyness about swimming in clothes is to do it with others. You don't feel so strange if you're in the water with one or two other guys. Onlookers just assume you're just messing around - playing football or tackling.
Where is this Clevedon Marine lake? Someone on this list must be nearby. Can someone come and get this guy wet?
