Today there were two lanes for lifeguard training, as potential candidates swam front crawl, four at a time, in their sweatshirts and trackies. The remaining lane was used by us oldies for the weekly "granny swim", or more correctly the over 50's lane swim session. I was wearing, as usual for the lane swim sessions, my "smiley" tie-dye flouncy sleeved hippie top, with culottes and a swirly umbrella dress, along with a multicoloured chain necklace and ankle bracelets. Yesterday, since you asked for full details, I swam in a swirly blue boho-skirt instead of the culottes, and pretty much the same as today. I am Enby (non-binary). Even my computer (::SHE+ILA::) is non-binary, using a BCD ALU. I enjoy mermaiding like that, regardless of whether it "upsets" certain trolls on this BBS, due to closet jealousy or subconscious conflict. After all, the lifeguards and other swimmers all approve, their concern is merely whether one can safely swim in it (hint -- a belt round the waist stops the skirt dropping over my head during fly). A bit of entropy adds to the excitement and surprise factor, and who knows, if one ever falls overboard in a long dress, it's good practice :) Even Felix (the Sysop) says "huzzah" (scan the message numbers, NOT the index, as the thread was de-indexed due to spam). SW, FW, and BH :)
